Clash of Clans bases "Defenseless Troll" accounts are made to help swing war matchmaking in our favour... in two ways!

1st - From a defenceive perspective: In our experience, matchmaking is heavily based on the average defensive strength of all members, and not so much the offensive strength.By having one or several "defenseless" members, we will get matched against much weaker clans. While this means we will have several members that are very easy to 3 star, the enemy clan will likely be weak too.

Of couse, this effect is easier to see with many defencesless bases in our wars. If we have enough defencesless bases in war, the other team will have next to no chance of 3 starring (or perhaps even 2 starring) our top members. While this likely means an active opposing clan will relatively easily get all of the available bottom stars, it should be very difficult or impossible for them to get all of the available stars at the top.

2nd - From an offensive perspective: On the other hand, since our offenses will be so much stronger than our defenses, it should be relatively easy to 3 star every single enemy. The top guys should see slightly weaker enemy defences, and the bottom guys who have advanced their troops, can make attacks way above thier mirror number. This is a huge advantage for our team by essentially having more top (strong) attacks then the enemy. We hope to keep growing our offence to continue this domination.

"Defenseless" Upgrade Priorities:

The goal here is to minimize your defensive score, so no defensive buildings should be built or upgraded. Walls appear to have a negligible effect on match making so feel free to upgrade those as you please (plus you should have lots of gold to dump). I have not played around with how traps effect match making, so I would recommend skipping those as well.

Depending on how much you plan on working on your defenseless account will decide your upgrade priority. If you plan on playing on it regularly and farming a lot, you can skip the collectors/mines and just focus on storages and army upgrades. However, if you plan on playing casually, only checking it once or twice a war to empty your collectors/mines, activate your builders, do a war attack, and train another war army (to be ready for when you log on again), I recommend focusing on your collectors/mines first, followed by your army buildings/troops (and storages as needed).
